Can receive but can't send e-mail using Outlook 200 on XP SP2

I am trying to set up my new wanadoo.co.uk account. I receive e-mail no
problem, but when I try and send I get the cannot connect to server message -
before that I got the conection terminated message - any suggestions as to
what I need to tweak?

I am having the same problem and have talked to microsoft
and comcast and no one can figure it out! I've tried
everything

Make sure you're properly authenticating to the outgoing server. The
settings are on the Advanced tab of the account properties pages.
