Until today i have had no problems with outlook and i have made no
alterations to any setup, but now i cannot send emails even though i can
receive them. Thsi is the error message that it is shown to me. Does anyone
have any ideas?

Task 'imap.evtek.fi - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is
unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).'

Is this still happening? Since it just started, it may just be that your
ISP's server is down, or you're having a network problem. If it still
isn't working, perhaps a firewall or something is blocking Outlook's
connection.

Yes it is still happening, tryid to send mai today, did not happen. The
server is not down since my roommate has no problems using outlook and we are
using the same line.

You may have a firewall on your computer that is blocking Outlook's access.
Have you installed any security programs lately (firewalls, anti-virus)?
If so, you may need to either open port 25 in the firewall, or add Outlook
to the programs allowed to connect to the Internet...
