Can Outlook Express do Automatic Mail Checks?

(Sorry, I know this is an Outlook group, but other
groups are very much less active.)

Don't seem to find any way to do this.
Help very much appreciated.

Have you tried the
msnews.microsoft.com.microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress?

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup. Try
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
