1) There is no such thing as "America Online email". ALL email is
"electronic internet mail", or "email", and may be received by ANY email
client which is set up for it..
2) If you have access to the America Online POP and SMTP addresses, and
America Online actually uses a POP server for its mail, all you will
have to do is insert the POP and SMTP addresses in the Outlook Account
creation wizard.

I suggest that you ask America Online support how to set up their mail
server in Outlook.

Steve, for now it looks like you are SOL with AOL and
Outlook. Checkout Article #281605 in Microsofts Knowledge
Base.

Have you read MKBA #281605???

Donald,
Very Helpful! Thanks you very much....You are "The Man."

I have another one for you to solve though. I have my AOL and Adelphia
emial accounts now set up so that I can access them through Outlook
2003. Do you know if I can do this with a Microsoft Hotmail Account?

Just found better info:
First, read info on http://www.enetbot.com.

Setting up your AOL mail under OutlookXP:
http://www.enetbot.com/support/manual/man_3_3_1e.asp

Setting up your AOL mail under Outlook2000

Thanks in advance!!!

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article

Don't know the URL, but I'm sure a search will turn it up.

Microsoft Hotmail is a native Email account type for Outlook. When you
set up the account, choose "HTML" as the account type instead of POP3.
The account wizard will automatically set the proper server addresses.
All you will have to add is your username and password.

Please disregard part of my last post. Instead of "HTML" as the account
type, read "HTTP". The rest is correct, as far as I know.
