Hi all,
usually in internet explorer when u right click and click save picture as,
it is saved in the file format and name of the original copy, like
"picture-1.jpg" right?
well my computer instead only allows the option of saving as "untitled.bmp",
in the bitmap file format.
this is extremely inconvenient! please help!

It's time to perform some computer housecleaning chores:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.

Common issue:

Beings you are posting via CDO, I have no idea if you are using AOL. As
there are extra measures.

Clear your Temporary Internet Files, then try again.

Suggestion:

Go to IE/Internet Options/Delete Files. Also in Settings change the amount
to 40 MB. This will help in preventing the index files from becoming
overloaded.

As per CDO:

This happens if the indexes of the Temporary Internet Files get
overloaded. In Control Panel - Internet Options, in the temporary
Internet files section on the General page, click 'Delete files'. Then
I suggest click Settings and reduce the space allowed - 50 MB is
probably generous, and on big drives it tends to choose by default a
setting that is so high that this overload happens
