Can one install all drivers during XP setup?

I'd like to know if there is a way one can install all device drivers
during Windows XP setup. My system is mainly new hardware, for which
Windows XP has no default drivers.

So I'm wondering, is there a way one can integrate the drivers for
such devices into a Windows XP clean install? I just hate running all
those setup programs after I've installed Windows, to install all the
different drivers my system needs. Having it done automatically would
be nice.

There must be a way one could integrate the *.inf files for the device
drivers, along with the dll's and other files, into the Windows XP
setup. I just don't know what files to edit and where to put my
driver files.

I would also like to know how I can supply my drivers/software to my install
CD or on a single separate CD so it would be installed during the XP
installation.

Thanks!

How many drivers do you have to install?..

10 or 11 to start... Sound Blaster Audigy 2 drivers, video card, video
capture, game pad, Sony DV Camcorder drivers for my camcorder,
printer, scanner, chipset drivers, modem, NIC, Remote Control, etc.

Some of these take 20 minutes or more to install in Windows, so I am
hoping to integrate the drivers into Windows XP Pro setup. I know it
can be done, I just don't know how.

Some of those are not just drivers.. there are program installs that require
input as they go..

I realize this. I'm not new to computers or Windows. The drivers I
want to install will provide basic functionality for my sound card,
video, etc, until I am ready to install the multimedia applications
that go along with them. I just want a way to install them in one
step during Windows Setup instead of having to setup, restart, setup,
restart, setup, restart a dozen or more times to install all the
different drivers.

Still haven't received an answer to my basic question, though. How
does one install these drivers during Windows XP Pro setup? I have
all the inf files and driver dll's, etc in separate folders, according
to which device they belong. All I need to know is how to incorporate
them into Windows XP setup.

There is a way to install third-party drivers during the Installation of XP.
Press F6 when prompted during installation. You have to watch carefully,
however: the prompt is placed in the Install program Status bar.

From what I know of this, it is mainly for the installation of third-party
disk controller drivers so that the HD can be accessed during the Setup.
You may be able to install other drivers at this point, who knows?

Thanks, Donald, for the tip. However, I heard there is a way to edit
the textsetup.sif file or the unattend.txt file to incorporate any set
of drivers for any device, right into the Windows XP setup, via
Unattended install.

I have to use the F6 option to install drivers for my ATA133 card, but
there is no option to install other drivers, as far as I know.
