When I try to hide a set of columns in Excel 2002 (Windows 2000), I get an error 'Can not shift objects off sheet.' Does anyone know where this comes from. I don't see any objects in the sheet

Any help is always appreciated

I am trying to hide the column and have trired to set the column width to zero. I can hide any column in the sheet with the exception of three of them. When I try to hide any of these (or set their widths to zero), I get the 'Can not shift objects off sheet' error

So, I don't follow what you're saying. I reied them; they don't work. Do I need to be more explicit

The error is that the column is the object

Two ways to fix this erro
1. Set the width to
2. Adjust it that the column hides and shifts to the right

Tom,

Thank you. Where do you learn about all of these details?
