I have a windows 2000 Server, single domain model and all
workstations except for one is windows 2000 OS. One is an
XP workstation. when ever network places is opened, you
can see all computers but not the XP workstation. You can
not even see the XP workstation when you brouse network
places on the XP workstation.
Any Ideas?

Is the Server service started on that XP workstation?

If the "workstation" isn't serving any file shares or printer shares, it
won't need to be in the browser, right?

That makes sense. I guess I am just used to it
automatically running. When ever you usually add a new
workstation with Windows 4.0 WS or Win2000 it must have
always been on by default.

Thanks.
