Can Not Open New Window

This program just started last night. I suddenly can not
open new windows of IE 6. Everytime I try it just over-
writes the current window. This problem started suddenly,
and I've never had it before. Any ideas?

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

I have just started experiancing this. I tried un checking
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts". but this dosnt
work, although to send this, it opened a new window. Its
so annoying. Help
 
My daughter is having the same issue. I checked the
setting "unchecking the Reuse windows for launching
shortcuts". It's unchecked and the problem remains. The
real frustration for her is that when a pop up comes up,
it consumes the browser and she has to start her research
from ground zero. Any other suggestions?

She's running IE 6.0 on Windows NT.

Check the box. Then close everything and Restart the computer. Go back and
uncheck the box. Sometimes it needs a kick in the pants.

I am having the sam problem and came here to see if
anyone else has it.. were you able to fix it yet? if s
let me know.. it is killing me !! I restored the IE
defalts butit didn't help.. JL
