Can not open internet options

I need help, I can not open internet options at all not from tools on my
browser or from control panel. I see a dim flicker but nothing happens. I
try restore but that didn't help. Any one know the answer ?

Hi Blue,
Windows Version, IE version and do you have AV installed and Anti-malwares,
it seems to me the sin of infection if not a corrupted file on your computer.
Are you logged as Admin to do this, is it a work compy or a home compy?.

Hi, I'm using windows XP home version...a few days ago downloaded new IE7 I
have McAfee on but it has never been a problem also Adaware. Every thing
works but the Internet options. I did a clean up on the computer a few days
back anyway I may have blocked this file ? Thanks

Hi,
Yes, I think you blocked it by somehow on your McAFee firewall, so check the
Internet applications on the Firewall and see if you blocked the IE options
there and allow it access.
Also see the configurations of your Adaware that also can block it.
