Can not make MDE database

I'm trying to make an MDE file in Access 2002, and I get a message box that says 'Microsoft Access was Unable to Create an MDE Database'.

According to Help, this message appears when making an MDE from a replicated database, but this file is not replicated. I was able to build an MDE in Access 2000, from this file. In 2002, I first had to convert the database to 2002,to get the Make MDE menu item enabled, but I still can't make the MDE

If you have converted your database file format to Access 2002 and still
cannot make the MDE, the next step is to compile all of your code to make
sure that there are no syntax or other errors.

It can also be due to several users in the db (make sure there's no .ldb
before you open it)
Also if it references other Access Db's (MDA's) I'm pretty sure you should
upgrade those 2...
