hi Roy M. thanks for the input, but i tried that before

rom, when i put it in it repeats the same question!i have
priority boot on cd-rom so i can install xp and the Asus

driver for the seagate hhds? how do i go about the proses?
and actualy i called Asus and the tech said i did not need
to with XP,he said reset SPD in bios to manual and set
memory to it's specs.after i reset the CMOS, well i did
like he said and same thing happen, since i tried all
sorts of settings and can't get anyware! but im not giving
up!!!!!!!!!. thanks. i also sent a new post today with
more detail on sys. hardware and settings. Ray V.
