can not get out of window 98 wizard

can not get out of window 98 wizard (could not find my key
#'s so i bought win xp home & now computer (which had no
operating system)keeps going to win 98 wizard to download,
how do I get out of there to load new xp???
 
no operating system yet,,,,,no windows, just dos ,, when i
click on cancel computer turns off, @ start up 98 wizard
comes up to complete set up but no key #'s can only cancel
