I get this error...

Account: 'pop.suddenlink.net', Server: 'pop.suddenlink.net', Protocol:
POP3, Server Response: '-ERR a user name MUST be entered', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC91

Called my isp, I can log into webmail.suddenlink.net, and can log in and get
my mail, so it's not my isp.
Called Dell....they want 250.00 to fix it, even tho the computer is only 2
months old..guess this is software problem, not a hardware..according to them.
I have removed/restarted/add my mail acct several times...still the same
problem.
Any ideas?

I also get a windows security box asking for UserName and PassWord...when i
do this, it just comes back up to the same windows security box....
Someone please help me !!!!

No need to start a new thread, those using a proper newsreader can see your
messages even if you can't?

I replied to that thread again.

Your error message and the error codes produced indicate that you are using
an incorrect Username.
Your username is either your full email address or all after the @ set at
tools>accounts>your account>properties>server tab.

Some email servers insist that you enter your username with no CAPITAL
LETTERS . Some require that you follow it with the part of your email
address that starts with @, and some insist that you don't. Some care which
letters of your password are in CAPITAL LETTERS and which are in
lowercase. If any of these fail, they don't always tell you whether the
error
was in the username of the password.
