Can not connect

I am having a problem connecting to a server for my work email. I can
connect and receive mail but I can not send mail out. The message I get is
below.
The connection to the server has failed.
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0E
Can someone tell me what I need to do. This worked for along time and now it
doesn't.

Can someone tell me what I need to do. This worked for along time and
now it doesn't.

Several things can cause this:

1) You're not properly authenticating to the outgoing server (see the
Outgoing Server tab in your account properties pages.
2) You're running an antivirus program that is scanning mail.
3) Your ISP has changed the port on which it listens for SMTP connections
4) Your ISP inbox is full.
