I am running Windows XP on my home system. When I get to the blue "Welcome"
screen, I select the account I wish to log on with (there is only one) and
then click on it. For some reason, the computer freezes right here! I have
tried to remove all cards in the computer and then after rebooting, trying to
start up, but this does not solve the problem. I also unplugged my cable
modem and tried to reboot, but still it does not solve my dilemna.

I would appreciate some advise on what to do - I also tried to boot in Safe
Mode but this does not work. I assume some System files are corrupt and this
is what is causing me trouble.
