Can not access folders

I had to reinstal win xp on a diferent drive and cannot get into the my
document's folders for the users on the other drive I need some important
files out of them Help.

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.
