can no longer press ctrl+enter shortcut in address bar

Please advise me how I can resolve this problem.
I can no longer press ctrl+enter in the address bar to add
www. and .com

Same thing with me. I hope some one has an answer. Also I can't put IE
shortcut on Desktop. I select to do so by going to Display Properties,
Desktop Tab, Customize Desktop Button and putting in the checkmark for
Internet Explorer. I take it out and try it again and it won't appear on
Desktop. I want that so I can right click on it and delete cookies and tem
files.

tools \ intoptions \ advanced
Check "use inline autocomplete"
apply and okay your way out.
 
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! How that changed I
don't know but that is one of my favorite shortcuts.

Did I say thank you?
 
Goto tools, internet options, advanced, under browsing
check show ie shortcut on desktop.
