Can MNS mess. & Windows mess. be run concurrently?

I have Windows XP home edition and was running WIndows Messenger 4.7
successfully - I just dl MSN Messenger 6.0 and wonder if it is
possible to run both at the same time.When I attempt to run both, one
of the two is inactivated. A chat group friend says he runs both -but
doesn't explain how he does it..

Any help would be appreciated.

By having two different accounts is how. You are booted from one because you
are using the same name/password combo.
