Can I use both Outlook xpress 2003 and Outlook 2003

A friend wants me to covert to Outlook and leave Outlook Xpress behind. I
would like to run both at the same time for a while. Will I be able to
install Outlook 2003 and still have access to Outlook Xpress?
 
Yes, these are separate applications. If you want to collect mail with both
make sure you configure your account in both applications to leave a copy on
the server.

Yes. BTW, there's no such thing as "Outlook Express 2003" - the latest
version is OE6....
