I'm getting a new HP Pavillion next week and it's coming
with Windows XP Home installed. Can I use the Windows 2000
Upgrade disc to convert to Windows 2000?

Thanks,
Grape

Hi Grape

Unfortunately, you cannot. The only thing you can do is, when you updated
from 2000 Pro to XP Pro you can roll it back. For you the only solution is
to get a full version of Windows 2000 and install it.
However, you might not need to buy the full version if you still have an
'older' Windows OS. To see if you qualify for an Upgrade to Windows 2000
Pro, go here:

Hope this helps. Regards,

Fabio
