Can I see ram useage for each process?

I've learned that winXP keeps ram pretty full all the time, so watching
ram useage doesn't make much sense. But when I'm running an analysis, I
would like to see how much ram this is using. Is there a way to watch
the contents of ram accomodating individual processes seperately?

It seems like in my old Mac (< OS10) days there was a way to see how
much ram each program was using.

Thanks very much for any pointers.....

download and run Process Explorer
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html

Double click on the process(s), reading it's performance will show ram
usage.

Jim,

Maybe I'm misinterpreting your question but why can't you open Task Manager
to the 'Processes' tab and run the test. It shows each process/application
and it's RAM usage in real time.

Thanks Drew. By the time I open task manager and study that list, the
processes are not taking up the same ram they were when I wanted to
know, if things are changing, like opening programs, running an
analysis, etc.

I'm hoping for a dynamic graphical view of ram useage.

Thanks
Jim
