Can I retrieve my old calendar appointments after a system restor

My computer was recently infected by a virus. I was forced to do a system
restore and appear to have lost a lot of data. My calender appointments were
all lost. Is there any way to retrieve my appointments after a system
restore? Thank you for your help.
 
System Restore doesn't mess with data. On the other hand a Factory
system recovery could have wiped out everything. Please tell the folks
what you actually did, and what you see now.
