Hi there,

I'm new to this newsgroup and I have a questions that I
could not resolve.

My questions are;

1) If I remove a "WINDOWS XP HOTFIX (SP2") from the
Add/Remove Programs will it damage anything?

2) Will I simply lose data?

3) Can I recover the file if I remove it, if so how?

Thx!

Jo

You will remove the updates if you remove a Windows XP Hotfix (SP2). You can restore it just by going to Windows Update to download
them again.

It will damage (remove) the fix that the hotfix provided.

2) Will I simply lose data?

You lose no data, just the hotfix.

3) Can I recover the file if I remove it, if so how?

By redownloading and reinstalling the hotfix.
