Can I reinstall SP2?

I had a issue with many of the service items being turned off. I have
reactivated many but many items still donot work correctly. I would like to
uninstall sp2 and reinstall to put the system back in place. I lost all of
my restore points. Thanks for any help.

You can uninstall it and reinstall SP2. I have done it a few times on a
couple PCs and didn't have a problem.

Service Pack 2 can be uninstalled via Add/Remove Programs. You can then
prepare your system properly to receive SP2 and reinstall it.

For a clean install, make sure your Anti-Virus is turned off
during the removal and the re-install, as you should with any MS
Patch or Update.

Thanks for the heads up on turning off my anti-virus software. I would have
forgotten to do that. Now I can get started with the recovery process.
