I have 4 computers in this house. Three have been running
Windows XP and use the same cable modem for the internet.
As for the fourth computer, I just reformatted the hard
disk and installed Windows2000(it has nothing but the OS
and drivers on it).
When i plug the network cable into an XP computer, I can
access the internet instantly. But when I plug it into
the 2000 computer, the light on the network card is lit,
but I don't have access to the network(not the internet or
the shared files).
I was wondering what I could do to make it work. I would
really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what to do.
