Can I move my Outlook expresss? And can I share a printer without turning the other computer on?

I have 2 computers with XP connected with a router, and attempted to set up a network. I would like my outlook express mail to go to the new computer, I did the set up, but nothing. Do I have to disable the old one? (I'm keeping the same email) And also is there a way where I can use the shared printer, from the new computer without having to turn the other one on( so far this is the only way they share)

In order to share a printer the computer that it is
attached to must be on unless you buy a network print
server like HP jet direct to connect the printer directly
to the network hub. the only other way is to get an AB
switch for the printer. As far as e-mail goes if you set
up outlook express with the proper servers and passwords
etc it should work on your new machine. you do not have to
disable the old e-mail but remember in most cases once e-
mail is downloaded to one machine it is off your ISP's
server and will not download to the other machine. In
other words the machine whose e-mail you check firast will
get it and the other will have nothhing to receive.
