How can I get my boss out of my computer? Can I setup a
password that he cannot get into? I tried changing my
password and he still gets in. He does not like me
keeping info on my computer.

Tammy;
Whose computer is it?

Does he have Administrator access?
If yes, then you can not keep him out.

Otherwise password all accounts including the default Administrator
account.

If it's his computer and you're on company time, everything on that computer
is "his" as far as legal access. That includes personal emails, etc. that
you happen to read on the job. You'd be better off not keeping files on
there that you're not supposed to have, rather than trying to keep him out.
His next step, if you do effectively block him via software, may very well
be to unplug your computer, haul it off somewhere, and take a look at
everything you've been doing. And he would have every legal right to do so.

Whether you like that idea or not isn't the point, there's not a lot you can
do about it, except maybe work somewhere else where they don't care what you
do on company time.

If you're talking about a computer you own, that makes things different, of
course.

Get another job. It's the companies computer, not your. The copany has
every right to dictate what is allowed on the computer and to access that
data. If you try to keep your boss out, he can simply fire you.

Greetings --

Is it your own personal computer, or does it belong to your
employer? If the latter, you shouldn't even be trying.
