Can I keep names from expanding in a distribution list?

I would like to put a distribution group in the "To" box without the
recipients being able to expand the list. My boss does not want to put this
distribution list in the "BCC" box.
 
No. If you want the recipients to not see other emails, then use a mail
merge. Otherwise, the only way to prevent others seeing email addresses
using just mail is to use the BCC field.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
