Can I increase the number of characters Word allows in a drop-dow.

I have some rather long options to be placed in a drop-down list, but some of
them exceed the maximum number of characters allowed by Word. Is there any
way to get around this? Also, I have some long lists that exceed the number
of entries allowed by Word.

Please help if you can.

Could you get by with an AutoTextList field? This would allow you to use
short AutoText entry names representing longer AutoText entries. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm
