Can I hide the header when viewing received mail....?

I don't like to have the header data cluttering up my page...sometimes it's
quite lengthy and I have to scroll a lot just to get to a one line message.
Other mail programs I have used have viewing the header as an option...
In the "help" files I found how to View the header information. It seemed
logical that if one had to find a way to view it, there must be a way to have
it not show by default. I just haven't found the way in my tinkering, nor
have I found any help file information that tells me if or how it can be
done.

the internet header? outlook doesn't display it in the message body, it
hides it and makes it difficult to view...

if you mean the gray area in the preview pane, which version? You can hide
it but the steps are different between versions.
