Can I have a LAN without passwords?

2 pc's in same room, one running xp home and the other running xppro. They
are connected through a router. The router is connected to cable modem.
Have the network up and running, but I have to enter a name and password
whenever I turn either computer on or network will not work.

Can I have the network and lose this sign on hassle?

A better solution is to download the Power Toy TweakUI from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Then use TweakUI's Autologon feature. You'll still have your passwords
set, but XP will automatically log you on and you'll go right to your
desktop.
