I searched on the net how to do that but the menu they describe do not
exist in my MS outlook. I don't have "Add a new email account"
Mine has Add, mail, And I don't have the HTTP option. I have pop3 and
IMAP. Why would that be? tx

p.s. what about yahoo with MS outlook 2000?

Answer: On the Outlook menu select Tools | Email Accounts.

Make sure that 'Add a new email account' is selected.

Click Next.

Choose 'HTTP' as the Server Type.

Click Next again.

Enter your account details in the 'Email Accounts' dialog box:
Type your full name under 'Your Name'.
Type your Hotmail address under 'Email Address'.

If Outlook has not entered it for you automatically, type your Hotmail
email address User Name.

Type your Hotmail password under 'Password'.

Select 'Hotmail' in the 'HTTP Mail Service Provider' box.

Click 'Next' and 'Finish'.

Outlook 2000 doesn't support HTTPmail. You'll have to get a later version
of Outlook.

Yahoo Mail provides POP3 and SMTP servers *IF* you pay for it. Otherwise,
use YahooPOPs with freebie Yahoo Mail accounts.
