I am trying to insert an address from my address book directly into a Word
document much like I am able to do in WordPerfect. I know I can use
mail/merge to accomplish this but is there a quicker way? I am using Word
2002.

If you do not have Address Book on your Insert menu, you can add it (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToToolbar.htm), but
you must be using Outlook or another MAPI client for the address book (see
“WD2000: Which Address Books Can Be Used with Word?†at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=269111). Once you have established
Outlook as the source of addresses, you can add addresses to the book from
within Word; you don't have to actually use Outlook at all.
