Well there are actually 29 seperate folders folders all together in the
windows directory. It loox like they are some sort of un-install log or
something. Not very big only 45 meg or so ..... just curious

I have those as well.

The KB901214 indicates that they are to do with Knowledge base articles that
usually indicate the article number that describes what an update is for.
They look to me like the uninstall utility for a particular Windows update,
because the uninstall options are no longer in Add/Remove Programs.
