Can I delete all the $NtUninstallxxxxxxx directories in C:windows?

Yep.. that time again. Need to make some room for stuff on the old HD.

So I noticed these directories in the windows folder and was wondering if I
could safely/should delete them.

If so, is there a special way to do so (like I believed win98se allowed you
do delete any backup if previous windows OS)?

Those are the folders of files needed to uninstall the related Windows
update 'hotfixes'. CHeck on any at the corresponding
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;xxxxxx page. If you are
happy that you will not want to uninstall the fix, just delete the
folder concerned
