Hi All, I want to be able to if possible, have an email come in, and when it
does, allow my outlook to go to a url that is in the body of the email. I
have created a rule that says any email from anyone with the subject "quote"
open Internet Explorer. I'd like it to open IE, but to go to the url supplied
in the body of the same email. It is for work. A quote comes in and the first
agent to go to the url in the email gets first crack at the quote. Can this
be done simply with rules?

Thank You!!

Thank You Diane!!

Would you know of a direction to point me in perhaps?
What is VBA? I'm pretty technical, but don't do TOO much with reules and
scripting etc. but really need this ability so I'm eager to learn on how to
do a simple script etc.

Thanks a million! I appreciate the fast reply!!

No, rules alone can't do that. You'd need script or VBA to do that can of
stuff.

I'm not even sure a script could do it, because of security issues. Try the
programming groups 'down the hall -
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie....aspx?dg=microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba -
or outlookcode.com.
