I am trying to figure out if I can check check emails from my Outlook
Express from a different computer? Or, if I can only do it from my
home computer?
Outlook Express is just a mail client. You can't access it from another
computer unless you do some kind of remote access to your home computer,
such as Remote Desktop, GoToMyPC, etc. No different from asking "how can I
access Microsoft Word from a different computer"...you can't. For remote
access to POP/IMAP mail you haven't yet downloaded in OE (and hence removed
from the server), you could try your ISP's webmail or
www.mail2web.com
Also, to check my Junk mail to see if its someone I know, the first
email listed in my Junk mail folder opens. Is there a way to not have
this happen? If not, then I would rather just stay with the Yahoo or
Hotmail layout where I can view the emails by sender and subject with
out opening the email.

Regarding the rest of your question - this is a group for Outlook questions
(Outlook is part of Office), not Outlook Express (part of IE/Windows). Best
to post OE questions in OE groups for the most help:
Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x
If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).
If you're accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support
Services Community Newsgroups web interface, click
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=InternetExplorer
to get to the Internet Explorer groups, then click the plus sign next to
your version of IE to see the link to the Outlook Express group for that
version number.
A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.insideoe.com/
Lastly, you might want to consider using a newsreader like Outlook Express
or Forte Agent rather than the web interface to the newsgroups - it's a lot
easier to do nearly everything there, including searching, which is always a
good idea to do before you post, as well as mark messages to be watched, and
filter based on replies to your posts.
The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like.
