Can Frontpage 2003 and Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 run on the same machine?

I'm currently developing a Sharepoint 2003 app on a
Windows 2003 Server. When I installed Frontpage 2003 on
the machine, wacky things start to happen: e.g. the
titlebars of my IE browsers lose their ability to refresh,
icons start disappearing everywhere (randomly), etc. Can
these two apps co-exist on the same machine? If so, what
do I need to do to stop the wacky behavior?

I have FrontPage 2003 installed on a Windows Server 2003 machine, with both
SharePoint and non-SharePoint sites on it. No problems. I wish I knew what
would stop the "wacky behavior," but I haven't experienced it. Are you sure
that it's not some of the IE settings? They are particularly tightened down
security-wise with Server 2003.

Thanks for the response. I disabled the enhanced security
features in IE before I installed FrontPage 2003. When
you installed the software, did you do it in a particular
order? Frontpage 2003, then Sharepoint OR Sharepoint
then Frontpage 2003?

SharePoint comes with the operating system. So, that answers that one.
Shouldn't make any difference. Still, there are quite a few things that are
locked down with Server 2003. You might want to keep looking there.

I believe it was ultimately a 'not enough memory' issue.
Everything is working fine for me now after I streamlined
my list of resident apps. Thanks.
