Can booting occur ................

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes :)

True but, if it is the system drive that is active, it doesn't seem to list
'active' in the status column of Drive Management. It just says (System) so
perhaps the OP is confused by that. If the boot files are placed on another
drive and that drive is made 'active' then that is what appears in the
status column, the system drive still showing the same status as before.
