The screen is too small for old eyes, kids love text
messaging and the shorthand, adults like conversations. A
PDA that does telephone/WiFi would be a better portable
choice. A desktop with a nice display and having voice to
text, text to voice could be nice.
There are groups for hearing impaired (deaf) that can help
with the hard/software and also the emotional problems.
