can anyone recommend a good third party utility to partition a 120GB usb
drive for windows XP?
 
why do you need a 3rd party utility? XP should be able to partition it

The only 3rd party utility i ever need to use while partitioning drives is partition magic, and then only if there's data on the drive i want to preserve. if its a blank drive i just use the XP partition tools.

Unfortunately, my skills stopped with windows '98.
 
Let XP take you by the hand ;-)
Go to Start, Help and Support, type in 'partition', select "create a
partition or logical drive"
That will walk you through it.
