Hi

Can anyone find a post of mine about changing the names and locations of
system files and thhings in the start menu.

I don't know how you could get it to me but I'm sure you will. Maybe a
private message but I don't know how I'm set up.

ps. Yes, I know I am using a crappy MS CDO 2000 reader or whatever, I've
been through this before. I haven't got my head round it all yet.

Thank you!

Thanks. I give it a go but I've been changing my profile a lot and I'm also
using the basic microsoft reader that quite a few people have said it crap. I
don't what criteria it uses to search - I don't think you can choose to
search for author or subject etc. I'll have to try and sort out some software
when I've figured this all out a bit more!

Cheers.

Just do a search in each newsgroup on your name.

More accurately, you don't know anything.

That's because you have your ass around your head!

I know I'm gonna regret this, but here:

Try this group at Google:

http://groups.google.com/groups?q=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=
en&btnG=Google+Search

Type in key words and or phrases to the left of the Search This Group button. Key
phrases must be enclosed in quotation marks e.g. "can anyone help me find a post of mine?"
Key words only need a + preceding the word e.g. "can anyone help me find a post of mine?"
+Brian

Then click the Search This Group button. Google archives years of posts, and the search
engine is really fast. If you feel the need to use your web browser for news groups, then
use Google for posting as well.
