Can anybody help me please?

WXP SP2
There is no symbol for "maximizing" after minimizing any runining
aplication on the main panel. The main panel is shown but includes only
language panel etc. but no minimized window of aplication. The switching
between single aplications could be done only via task manager. ¨When loging
in as a different user everything is o.k. therefore I belive it has to be
something wrong in the user profile but don´t know how to fix it. Thank you
