Wordstar for DOS didn't use a standard extension (though .WS later became a
sort of standard). For WS for DOS there is a converter linked from my web
site that will recognize the WS extension..

Wordstar files can be converted with one of the discontinued
MS converters or a 3rd party product, but .SDW files are
Starwriter/OpenOffice documents rather than Wordstar files
and there are no MS converters for that product, but you
can download the whole app from the Open Office website.

Is there a way to convert wordstar files into word >>
