Can someone please help me do my database work. I am in school and I can't do it. Yes this is a pitiful cry for help. This is such a bludge.

Have you tried reading books? Access for Dummies? The Complete Idiot's
Guide to Microsoft Access? I'm not ribbing you; these are two very real and
helpful books for people in situations such as yourself.

Sure. My consulting rates are pretty steep for a student's budget, but
if you've got a thousand or two bucks to spare, and your teacher's
permission, I'll see what I can do.

well, nobody here is going to do your work for you, that's for sure. if you
are taking a course in Access in school, the point is for you to learn to
use Access - properly - and you're not going to learn anything from somebody
doing your work for you.
if, on the other hand, you are working on a specific database, and you are
trying to find a solution to a specific problem you're encountering, and you
post specific details and ask a specific question - then lots of people here
will be happy to help you figure out a way to solve the problem you're
having.
so when you're working on a database and need issue-specific help, come on
back and post. we'll be here for you.

but, John, it's a pitiful cry for help - he says so himself. can't you cut
your rates? maybe to $995 - $1995....c'mon, have a heart! ;-)

This sounds so familure! Didn't we have a girl that was in school and crying
for help a few days back?
Seems She says she wanted someone to do her work for her and that she didn't
have time?
Hummmm... wonder if they go to same school?
Maybey they know each other.... Say Matthew...you got a girlfriend that
don't have time to do her database work too?

Sweetie, if you are taking a class in database obviously someone is expecting you to do something with db in the future. Who will do it for you then?

Hopefully he'll be in management by then.

yeah, and i hope i'm working for him. nobody's easier to fool than someone
who has to *pretend* they know something about a subject, because they're
supposed to - but don't.

We do not need to doubt that he _will_ be in management by then :-) I think
Douglas Adams in one of his 'Dilbert' comics explained management as
evolutions way of getting rid of the idiots :p

<chuckle> Agreed. I live that cartoon. Thankfully I seldom have
to deal with PHBs.

Wrong Adams. Scott Adams draws Dilbert. The late Douglas Adams was the
author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe.

Do you know where your towel is? <g>

Same humnour, both of them....

No, actually, I can't seem to find my towel. ?!?
I do have the answer to the big question though.................... :p
