When I turn on my camera (plugged into USB port) the camera wizard appears.
I click on "Use Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard" and the wizard closes.
My camera shows as drive k in my computer but when I click on properties the
Auto Play is Music. I change it to Pictures but it still will not work. I
tried Auto Fix but that did not work. I do not have Real Player installed.
I can click on Open Folder and my pictures are there. I want the wizard to
work, can anyone help? Thank you

If you see your camera as a drive, right click on it.
A list will open, look down this list. Autoplay should on this list. Click
on it.
Before you do the above, run the following:
Click on Start and click on Run. Type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
This will take a second to run and you should get a "success" message.

Did Everything you said and it still does not work. I do have a log file but
it does not mean much to me.

Is Autoplay on the list when you right click?
If it is on the list and you click on it, what do you get?

Yes, Auto Play is there. I chose Microsoft Scanner and Wizard, click OK and
nothing happens, auto play just disappears. If I right click and chose
properties and then auto play the box says "Music". I change it to pictures,
click OK and nothing happens and when I go back to click properties, auto
play it is back to Music. But, the auto play in the list that I click shows
pictures. If I chose open folder to view pictures that works and view as
slide show works. Just no Wizard for Scanner and Pictures. Hope I am making
this clear to you. I really appreciate your trying to help.

Yes, your answer is clear. No problem with your answer.
I just can't figure out what is happening. Lots of problems reported here
with this Autoplay window, but not exactly what you describe.
I would go to the camera manufacturer site and help and support. They
normally have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) or some other type of help
and take it from there.
Sorry I can't help further than this.

Thanks for trying :))
