Does anybody know if Calypso supports TSL and SSL, or if there's a
workaround to make it support them?

I'd really, really hate to give up Calypso, but gmail and Calypso aren't
on speaking terms at the mo.

This one supports TLS & SSL.

TabMail
http://dlg.krakow.pl/tabmail/
TabMail for Windows (95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP) is mail user agent (MUA) for
sending, receiving and managing your email messages. It's small and
fast, conforms Internet Standards and supports Unicode characters.

1) If you are using Popfile with Calypo/Courier, Popfile will do SSL
for them see:
http://popfile.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?FrequentlyAskedQuestions/SSL
If not,
2) you may want to use Stunnel, see:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CalypsoMail/message/10249
and
http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=35188&highlight=ssl

We are using (1 this way:
Courier -> Popfile -> Spamihilator for POP and SSL/TLS accounts.

Spamihilator takes care of spams, Popfile is our automatic mail
classification tool.
