Has anybody come up with a to display "appointments" on a calander similar
to how Outlook does it?
In particular, how to display the overlapping appointments the way Outlook
does.

If anybody would like to share their ideas, I would be much obliged. I have
been trying to come up with ways on my own with no success.

Are you looking for something for ASP.Net or for Windows.Forms?

If you go to http://www.asp.net there are several good calendar controls
listed in their controls section. For Windows, I would automate Outlook if
I wanted an Outlook look and feel but then, a good search would probably
yield several Windows.Forms controls to do that as well.
