Can I to use Calendar control ver. 11.0 for Access 2000. My company is using
Access 2000 and Calendar Control 9.0, we would like to to use 11.0 because
it's drop down and not taking too much space in the FORM. More flexible, we
use add more than one calendar control in the FORM, such one for Start-date
and another for End-date. Please advise us the details - step by
step...Thanks.

My name is RayTo and email is (e-mail address removed)

It may or may not work, but there's a legal issue involved. Each computer
with the MSCAL.OCX ver 11.0 file installed must have a valid license for an
Office 2003 application that can use the calendar ActiveX control. You can't
just copy copyrighted files onto a computer without a license. That would be
software piracy.

Interesting ... I was just looking for the calendar control in 2007 Beta,
and not finding it. Hmmm...

If it's not there I don't know what Microsoft would have renamed the file to.
Maybe MSCAL2.OCX?

It's precisely because of the problems with registering, versioning, and
licensing ActiveX controls that I continue to use my calendar form:

There's also a version in Access 97 there. That calendar form was originally
written in Access Basic in Access 2.0 back in early 1994 and I've converted
it and only slightly changed the code, ever since. It still works in Access
2007.
